Absolutely not. Essex Bank remains under the ownership of its customers.

Will my banking experience and accounts be affected?

No. Your logins, accounts, technologies, and people remain the same – we just continue to add more capabilities and conveniences. Essex Bank branding will replace Essex Savings Bank content on materials across branches, digital platforms, cards, checks, and more.

Are there other items changing to reflect the new name?

Yes! New websites for Essex Bank, Essex Trust, and Essex Financial – with expanded content and improved user experiences – will all launch in October 2025. And, 2026 will mark 175 years of Essex Bank supporting you and the community, with commemorative stories and other surprises ahead.
